Our Story

About us

Adventure Business Pro wasn’t something we planned.

After years of building and running adventure businesses, We have learned that success in this industry requires a unique blend of outdoor expertise, business acumen, and the ability to adapt quickly when things don’t go as planned (which, let’s be honest, happens more often than we’d like).

Our Story

We started Adventure Business Pro because we realized how hard it is to run and adventure based business and we wanted support for ourselves and to offer support to others. There’s plenty of general small business advice out there, but very little that addresses the specific challenges we face as adventure entrepreneurs – from navigating complex safety regulations to managing seasonal cash flow to finding reliable guides who can handle both the technical skills and customer service aspects of the job.

What We Bring to the Table

Through our own businesses, we have tackled most of the challenges you’re probably facing: hiring seasonal staff, dealing with weather cancellations, managing insurance costs, building relationships with local tourism boards, and scaling operations without losing the personal touch that makes adventure businesses special.

We have made our share of mistakes (expensive ones!), discovered tools and strategies that actually work, and built systems that have helped our businesses thrive even during challenging seasons.

Our Approach

I’m not going to pretend I have all the answers – this industry is constantly evolving, and what works in one location or for one type of adventure business might need tweaking for another. But I do have proven experience and a track record of building successful operations.

What I offer is practical, tested advice from someone who’s actually running adventure businesses right now. When I recommend a strategy or tool, it’s because I’ve used it in my own operations and seen real results.

What We are Building

Adventure Business Pro is designed to be your go-to resource for navigating the unique challenges of our industry. Through weekly insights, practical guides, and real-world case studies, we’re building a comprehensive resource that addresses the gaps traditional business advice leaves behind.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to scale your existing operation, my goal is to help you avoid the costly mistakes I made early on and implement strategies that actually work for adventure businesses.

We’d love to meet you and talk outdoor adventure business!
